Bike MS: Cruise the Cornfields 2009 is just one of five Bike MS events put on by the North Central States Chapter. Riders pedal over 150 miles in just two days and raise awareness and funds to create a world free of MS. Riders will be treated to breakfast each morning, complimentary food and beverages at various rest stops about every 8-10 miles along the route, as well as a team of bike repair experts and plenty of support vehicles. Lunch is provided at a rest stop each day and music, a variety of food, massages, hot tubs, and excited cheering crowds await the riders at the finish line. On Saturday evening, a banquet is held for all riders, volunteers, and their families.
Bike MS is an opportunity to move yourself and help move us closer to a world without multiple sclerosis. Over 400,000 American families must deal with the uncertainties of multiple sclerosis each day. People with MS may experience numbness, blindness, loss of mobility or cognitive issues. These people know that moving is not a guarantee. MS can stop people from moving. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists to make sure it doesn't. Learn how.
